ARTIST RESIDENCY

The Artist Residency at the Aquarium Gallery & Studios is a FREE creative opportunity for visual artists to make new work in a new space for a month (or 2 week minimum).
Artists of any medium or career level with proposals for new projects are encouraged to apply.

The program provides a live-in studio with a loft bed and work space, private bathroom and access to the communal kitchen. If the loft is an issue we can put the bed on the ground floor but it will reduce your work space. please contact us with any concerns!

Resident artists are encouraged to offer a showing, installation, and/or interactive workshop based on the work they create during their residency. The showing will probably be in an open studio style.

The studio is located at the Aquarium Gallery & Studios in the Bywater, which is shared with the artist collective and connected apartments.

The application period for Jan.-Dec. 2025 has closed!
